Time again for this week's Hambo Hoedown entry.  This week's challenge (here) was to use a Hambo stamp ( I used  "Frogboy" that I got free for playing along last week) and add "warts or bumps".

I wanted to do something different, so I mad the background by using Scribbles 3D paint.  I randomly daubed the paint onto the Dark green paper.  I think it looks like little warts.

Can you hear me now?

Welcome, welcome, welcome. (Effie Trinket- the Hunger Games)
Time for another entry in the Hambo Hoedown. Check it out here.  This week's challenge was to make a CAS (Clean and Simple) card using a Hambo stamp.  I used the Microphone digi I got free for playing along last week.  This challenge was harder for me, because I like to fill up the front.  But I tried my best.  In fact I made 2 cards.  They are somewhat similar. Let me know which one you like better.

Card 1

Card 2

Stuff I used:
Image- "Microphone" digital image by Hambo Stamps
Colored with Copics
card1- R35, R37
card 2- YR02, YR04, YR07

Sentiments (and stitching on card 1) created on the computer
Not much else being it is pretty simple.
I popped the microphone up on foam squares

Did you go to the Hambo Hoedown to see which one I submitted?  Hope I made the right choice.
Thanx for looking, follow and comment.

See it here

Thanks again to everyone.  Now it's off to start on this week's challenge.  Check it out here and play along.

Hambo's 100th

This week was Hambo Hoedown's 100th challenge.  Check it out here.  I got the "Snow Heart" digital image free since I played along last week and followed the requirements.  I love their challenges.  This week's challenge was a card sketch.

This is what I came up with.

A side view of the card showing the layers.

Here's what I used to make it:
Digital image & sentiment- Snow Heart digital image by Hambo Stamps
Colored with Copics
V04, V06, BG23, YG06, R35, R37, R39, RV23, E00, E11, E13, E43, E47, E49, B00, G000
Solid cardstock- Recollections
Patterned paper- DCWV Stack 8
Edge punch- EK Success "Bubbles"
Fiskars 1/2" Heart punch
Faux stitching- burgundy Le Pen

I added the heart shape behind the image and cut out around it and the image as one. Mounted it on a piece of  pink cardstock.  I added faux burgundy stitching  around the heart.  I also cut another colored copy of the image out and popped it up on homemade foam squares. Then cut a third colored copy of the head, arms and heart out again and popped it up on more homemade foam squares.  The sentiment shape has the heart added and then cut out around. I mounted it on another piece of burgundy cardstock and cut around it.  It is mounted on a double layer of homemade foam squares.

I hope you like it and please comment.
